Oorzaak: Relative humidity in the store is not optimal
Check the relative humidity in the store
Oorzaak: Case is not aligned, level or plumb
Confirm that the case is aligned, level and plumb
Oorzaak: Improper alignment or leveler adjustment
See Installation section of Manual for instructions on properly aligning case and adjusting levelers
Oorzaak: Power is not turned on or circuit breaker is tripped
Confirm utility power is on, MAIN power switch is on, check circuit breaker box for tripped circuits, and confirm unit is properly plugged in if cord is used
Oorzaak: Controller is in defrost mode or power is off
Check that power is turned on and review factory time settings on the temperature controller. Note: Defrost mode is normal operation
Oorzaak: Lights not plugged in, bulbs not installed properly, burned out bulbs, dirt/dust on bulbs, or faulty ballasts
Ensure all lights are plugged in or receptacles capped, check bulb installation and connection, check for burned out bulbs, clean dirt and dust from bulbs, and if issue persists check for faulty ballasts with certified electrician
Oorzaak: Fans not plugged in or foreign material obstructing fan performance
Check that fans are plugged in at the fan shroud and check for foreign material obstructing fan performance
Oorzaak: Defrost mode, warm product added, coil fans not working, ice build-up on evaporator coil, improper case location, or dirty condenser coil
Note temperature changes during defrost are normal. Ensure product is pre-chilled to 41°F (5°C) or less before placement. Check coil fans are working, check evaporator coil for ice build-up, avoid placing case in sun or near heat/air-conditioning vents or outside doors, and ensure condenser coil is clean
Oorzaak: Dirty or covered condensing coil, fans not working, refrigerant overcharge, contaminated system, plugged filter dryer, blocked air circulation, or ambient temperature too high
Check condensing coil is not dirty or covered, verify condensing fans are working, check refrigerant charge level, perform sub-cooling check for contaminates, verify liquid line filter dryer is not plugged, check close-offs are intact and air is not recirculating, and ensure store ambient temperature is within maximum allowed
Oorzaak: Low refrigerant charge, low suction pressure, or bad compressor reed valves
Check sight glass for flashing or low charge indication, check suction pressure, check compressor reed valves for high suction/low head pressure condition, and perform pump-down
Oorzaak: Low refrigerant charge, restricted expansion valve, restricted liquid line or filter, kinked refrigeration lines, non-working evaporator fan motors, improper superheat, air recirculation, or iced up evaporator coil
Check sight glass for flashing or low charge, check expansion valve (TXV) restriction and element charge, check liquid line and filter for restriction, inspect refrigeration lines for kinks, verify evaporator fan motors working, confirm superheat is between 6°F to 8°F, check for air recirculation around evaporator coil, and check for ice build-up on evaporator coil
Oorzaak: Refrigerant overcharge, bad compressor reed valves, high cooling load, improper case location, direct sunlight exposure, or low superheat adjustment
Check for refrigerant overcharge, check compressor reed valves for high suction/low head pressure and perform pump down, ensure product is pre-chilled before placement, locate case at least 15-feet from exterior doors and HVAC vents, avoid direct sunlight and heat sources, adjust superheat if low, and verify TXV bulb installation with proper thermal contact in correct location
Oorzaak: Main power switch off, no proper voltage, loose wires/connectors, or power loss in circuit
Confirm main power switch is ON at case rear, check proper voltage at wall outlet matches serial label specifications, determine power loss point by checking: loose wires/connectors, power into temperature controller, power from temperature controller, power at contactor, power at start components, power at compressor, and continuity through pressure controls
Oorzaak: Power switch off or loose connections
Check that power switch is turned on and verify loose connections at back of temperature controller. Note: Settings are programmed at factory and no adjustments should be required
Oorzaak: LED plug not properly connected to LED socket
Verify that LED plug's oval form is inserted into LED's oval form and plug's flat form is inserted into LED's flat form
