Praktische tips om de meest voorkomende problemen met BEKO DIN25411 op te lossen.
Oorzaak: Power cable is unplugged, fuse is blown, water inlet tap is closed, door is open, or On/Off button is not pressed
Check if the power cable is plugged in. Check the fuses in your house. Make sure that the water inlet tap is open. Make sure that you have closed the door of the machine. Make sure that you have turned on the machine by pressing the On/Off button.
Oorzaak: Dishes are not placed orderly, selected programme is unsuitable, impellers are stuck, impeller holes are clogged, filters are clogged or installed incorrectly, baskets are overloaded, detergent is stored under unsuitable conditions, detergent is not sufficient, rinse aid is not sufficient, or detergent dispenser lid is left open
Load the dishes as described in the user manual. Select a programme with a higher temperature and cycle time. Turn the lower and upper impellers by hand to make sure that they rotate freely. Clean the impellers and filters regularly. Check the filter system and make sure that it is installed correctly. Do not overload the baskets. Store powder detergent in a closed container and use tablet detergents. Adjust the amount of detergent according to the soiling degree. Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Make sure that the detergent dispenser lid is closed tightly.
Oorzaak: Dishes are not placed orderly, rinse aid is not sufficient, machine is unloaded right after the programme is over, selected programme is unsuitable, or surface quality of the kitchen utensils is deteriorated
Place your dishes in a way that no water will accumulate in them. Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Do not unload your machine right after washing process is completed. Slightly open the door and wait for evacuation of the steam inside for a while. Unload the dishes after the pieces cool down. Start unloading process from the lower basket. Select programmes with longer duration for a higher drying performance. Do not wash kitchen utensils with deteriorated surfaces in dishwasher.
Oorzaak: Selected programme is unsuitable, surface quality of the kitchen utensils is deteriorated, or detergent is stored under unsuitable conditions
Select a programme with a higher temperature and cycle time. Do not wash kitchen utensils with deteriorated surfaces in dishwasher. Store powder detergent in a closed container and use tablet detergents.
Oorzaak: Rinse aid is not sufficient, water hardness setting is low, salt level is insufficient, or salt leakage exists
Check the rinse aid indicator and add rinse aid if necessary. Increase the rinse aid setting if there is enough amount of rinse aid in the machine. Measure the hardness of the supply water appropriately and check the water hardness setting. Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole while adding salt. Make sure that the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run the prewash programme to remove the salt that spilled inside the machine.
Oorzaak: Filters are clogged or dirty dishes are kept in dishwasher for 2-3 days
Check if the filter system is clean. Clean the filter system regularly. Remove the remnants on the dishes and run the Prewash programme without detergent every 2 days. Do not close the door of the machine completely in order to avoid odour build up. You can also use commercially available odour removers or machine cleaners.
Oorzaak: Salt leakage exists, salty food remnants have remained on dishes for a long time, electric installation is not grounded, intensive cleansers such as bleaches are used, metal items are used for purposes other then their intended uses, cutlery are made of low quality stainless steel, or kitchen utensils that are already corroded are washed in dishwasher
Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole while adding salt. Make sure that the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Run the prewash programme to remove the salt that spilled inside the machine. Remove dirt from cutlery by prewash or wash without being kept waiting. Check if your machine is connected to the actual grounding line. Do not use intensive cleansers such as bleach. Do not use metal kitchen utensils out of their intended uses. Do not wash low quality stainless steel or already corroded items in dishwashers.
Oorzaak: Detergent dispenser was damp when adding detergent, detergent is added long before the washing process, opening of the detergent dispenser lid is prevented during washing, detergent is stored under unsuitable conditions, or impeller holes are clogged
Make sure that the detergent dispenser is dried well prior to filling it with detergent. Pay attention to add detergent shortly before start-up of the washing. Place the dishes in a way that will not prevent the detergent dispenser lid from opening. Store powder detergent in a closed container and use tablet detergents. Clean the impellers regularly.
Oorzaak: Salt leakage exists, water hardness setting is low, salt level is insufficient, or dishes are not placed orderly in the machine
Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole while adding salt. Make sure that the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed after finishing the filling process. Measure the hardness of the supply water appropriately and check the water hardness setting. When placing the glasses and other glassware into the basket lean them not against other dishes but the edges or racks of the basket or the glass support tines.
Oorzaak: Excessive rinse aid is used or corrosion has occurred on glass due to soft water
Lower rinse aid setting. Clean the spilled rinse aid when adding rinse aid. Measure the hardness of the supply water appropriately and check the water hardness setting. If your supply water is soft (<5 dH), do not use salt. Choose programmes that wash in higher temperatures (e.g. 60-65°C). You can also use glass protective detergents that are commercially available.
Oorzaak: Dishes are washed with hand-wash detergent by hand but not rinsed before placing them into the machine or rinse aid has spilled into the machine when adding rinse aid
There is no need to hand-wash the dishes before placing them into the machine. Removing the coarse soil on the dishes under tap water, with a tissue paper or fork will be sufficient. Take care that rinse aid is not spilled in the machine when you are filling it. Clean any spilled rinse aid with the help of a tissue paper/towel.
