Praktische tips om de meest voorkomende problemen met BEKO DIS28120 op te lossen.
Oorzaak: Power cable is unplugged, fuse is blown, water inlet tap is closed, door is open, or On/Off button is not pressed
Check if the power cable is plugged in. Check the fuses in your house. Make sure that the water inlet tap is open. Make sure that you have closed the door of the machine. Make sure that you have turned on the machine by pressing the On/Off button.
Oorzaak: Dishes not placed orderly, unsuitable programme selected, impellers stuck or clogged, filters clogged or installed incorrectly, baskets overloaded, detergent stored improperly or insufficient, rinse aid insufficient, or detergent dispenser lid left open
Load the dishes as described in the user manual. Select a programme with a higher temperature and cycle time. Turn the lower and upper impellers by hand to make sure they rotate freely. Clean the impellers and filter system regularly. Do not overload the baskets. Store detergent in a closed container in dry conditions. Adjust the amount of detergent according to soiling degree. Check the rinse aid indicator and add if necessary. Make sure the detergent dispenser lid is closed tightly.
Oorzaak: Dishes not placed orderly, rinse aid insufficient, machine unloaded too quickly after programme completion, unsuitable programme selected, or deteriorated surface quality of kitchen utensils
Place dishes in a way that no water accumulates in them. Check and add rinse aid if necessary. Do not unload the machine right after washing; wait for steam to evacuate and dishes to cool down. Slightly open the door first and unload starting from the lower basket. Select programmes with longer duration for higher drying performance. Do not wash kitchen utensils with deteriorated surfaces in the dishwasher.
Oorzaak: Unsuitable programme selected, deteriorated surface quality of kitchen utensils, or detergent stored under unsuitable conditions
Select a programme with a higher temperature and cycle time. Do not wash kitchen utensils with deteriorated surfaces in the dishwasher. Store powder detergent in a closed container in dry places; use tablet detergents for better results.
Oorzaak: Rinse aid insufficient, water hardness setting is low, salt level is insufficient, or salt leakage exists
Check the rinse aid indicator and add if necessary. Increase the rinse aid setting if there is enough amount in the machine. Measure the hardness of the supply water and check the water hardness setting appropriately. Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole. Make sure the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed. Run the prewash programme to remove spilled salt.
Oorzaak: Filters are clogged or dirty dishes are kept in the dishwasher for 2-3 days without running the machine
Check and clean the filter system regularly. If not starting the machine immediately after loading dishes, remove food remnants and run the Prewash programme without detergent every 2 days. Do not close the door completely to avoid odour build-up. Use commercially available odour removers or machine cleaners.
Oorzaak: Salt leakage exists, salty food remnants have remained on dishes, electric installation is not grounded, intensive cleansers are used, metal items used improperly, cutlery made of low quality stainless steel, or corroded items are washed in the dishwasher
Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole and keep the salt reservoir lid tightly closed. Remove dirt from dishes with salty food remnants by prewash or wash without waiting. Check if your machine is connected to the actual grounding line. Do not wash dishes with bleach or other intensive cleansers. Use metal kitchen utensils only for their intended purposes. Do not wash low quality stainless steel cutlery or already corroded items in the dishwasher.
Oorzaak: Detergent dispenser was damp when adding detergent, detergent was added long before washing process, detergent dispenser lid opening prevented during washing, detergent stored under unsuitable conditions, or impeller holes are clogged
Make sure the detergent dispenser is dried well prior to filling it. Add detergent shortly before start-up of washing. Place dishes in a way that will not prevent the detergent dispenser lid from opening. Store detergent in a closed container in dry places. Clean the impeller holes regularly as they might be clogged with food remnants.
Oorzaak: Salt leakage exists, water hardness setting is low, salt level is insufficient, or dishes are not placed orderly in the machine
Pay attention not to spill salt around the salt filling hole as spilled salt can cause scratches. Make sure the salt reservoir lid is tightly closed and run the prewash programme to remove spilled salt. Measure the hardness of the supply water and check the water hardness setting. When placing glasses into the basket, lean them against the edges or racks of the basket or the glass support tines, not against other dishes.
Oorzaak: Excessive rinse aid is used or corrosion has occurred on glass due to soft water
Lower the rinse aid setting and clean spilled rinse aid when adding it. Measure the hardness of the supply water and check the water hardness setting appropriately. If supply water is soft (<5 dH), do not use salt and choose programmes that wash in higher temperatures (60-65°C). Use glass protective detergents that are commercially available.
Oorzaak: Dishes were washed with hand-wash detergent by hand but not rinsed before placing them into the machine or rinse aid has spilled into the machine
Remove coarse soil from dishes under tap water with a tissue paper or fork before placing them in the machine; there is no need to hand-wash the dishes. Take care that rinse aid is not spilled in the machine when filling it and clean any spilled rinse aid with a tissue paper or towel.
