Oorzaak: Buttons pressed too soon after opening the door, child lock activated, door not closed, or buttons are dirty
Wait a moment and try again. Check the Settings chapter for child lock. Ensure the door is open. Clean buttons with a dry or slightly damp cloth.
Oorzaak: Baskets not correctly positioned or dishes blocking the baskets
Check that baskets are correctly positioned horizontally. Ensure dishes are not blocking the baskets from sliding properly into place.
Oorzaak: Start/Stop button pressed too short, door not properly closed, door opened during programme, fuse tripped, plug not in socket, water tap off, or overflow/leaks
Press and hold Start/Stop until display shows 'Program started, close door'. Check door closure. Close door and wait for programme to continue. Check fuse/circuit breaker, plug connection, and water tap. Check for leaks.
Oorzaak: Spray arms blocked or not rotating, unsuitable programme, incorrect detergent dosage, old detergent, dishes loaded incorrectly, glasses tipped over, filters not fitted correctly, or drainage pump stop missing
Check spray arms are not blocked and can rotate freely. Clean spray arm holes and bearings. Choose a longer programme. Dose detergent according to water hardness. Use fresh detergent. Load dishes correctly, place them securely. Check filter handle is locked in stop position. Verify coloured stop in bottom drain is in place.
Oorzaak: Foodstuffs like mustard, mayonnaise, lemon, vinegar, salt and dressings left too long, or contact between different metals during washing
Rinse off these foodstuffs if not starting the dishwasher immediately. Use the Rinse and hold programme. Separate dishes made from different metals such as silver, stainless steel and aluminium.
Oorzaak: Incorrect rinse aid dosage setting, TAB setting activated with insufficient drying detergent, empty salt compartment, incorrect water softener setting, leaking water softener, or high temperature and excess detergent on crystal
Check rinse aid dosage in Settings. Switch all-in-one detergents or deactivate TAB setting and top up with salt and separate rinse aid. Top up salt compartment. Adjust water softener setting. Check salt compartment lid is properly tightened. Wash crystal at low temperature with conservative detergent amount.
Oorzaak: Rinse aid dosage setting too high
Reduce the dosage in Settings. If you have very soft water, dilute the rinse aid 50:50 with water.
Oorzaak: Lipstick and tea difficult to wash off
Use a detergent with a bleaching agent.
Oorzaak: Detergent compartment was damp when adding detergent or compartment has been blocked
Ensure the detergent compartment is dry when adding detergent. Check that dishes are not preventing the detergent compartment from opening.
Oorzaak: Dishes not correctly placed or spray arms not rotating
Check that dishes are placed securely. Spin the spray arms to make sure they can rotate.
Oorzaak: Filters blocked or not fitted correctly, debris in drainage pump, drainage pump stop missing, kink in drainage hose, or blocked drainage hose
Clean the coarse and fine filters. Check filter handle is locked in stop position. Clean the drainage pump. Verify coloured stop in bottom drain is in place. Check drainage hose is free from kinks and sharp bends. Disconnect drainage hose at sink connection and check for debris and minimum 14 mm inner diameter.
Oorzaak: Dirt around seals and in corners, or low temperature programmes selected for prolonged period
Clean with washing-up brush and low foaming cleaner. Run a programme with higher temperature once or twice a month, or run a self-cleaning programme.
Oorzaak: Dishwasher not fully loaded, rinse aid needs topping up or dosage too low, TAB setting activated with insufficient drying detergent, or door not opened slightly after programme
Fully load the dishwasher. Top up rinse aid or increase dosage level in Settings. Switch all-in-one detergents or deactivate TAB setting and top up with salt and separate rinse aid. Open the door a little once the programme has finished.
