Voor de cache-module gebruikt u de 24-inch BBWC-batterijpakcabel. Voor de mezzanine-kaart gebruikt u de 11,5-inch BBWC-batterijpakcabel.

Gebruik de SUV-kabel om een monitor en USB-apparaten (toetsenbord, muis, USB hub, CD/DVD-ROM-station of diskettestations) rechtstreeks met de server blade te verbinden. De SUV-kabel moet via de release-knoppen aan de zijkanten van de aansluiting worden losgekoppeld.

iLO 3 is een standaardcomponent van ProLiant c-Class server blades die server-gezondheidsstatus en externe server blade-beheersbaarheid biedt. Het biedt afstandstoegang tot de console, externe in-/uit-schakeling, het opstarten van virtuele media en geavanceerde probleemoplossingsfuncties.

Een AMD Athlon XP-processor (700 MHz of hoger aanbevolen), AMD Athlon 64-processor of Intel Pentium III of hoger (500 MHz aanbevolen), 256 MB RAM, een 10-Mb/s netwerkadapter en een CD-ROM-station.

Er worden vier primaire implementatiemethoden ondersteund: PXE-implementatie, CD-ROM-implementatie, schijfkopie-implementatie en SAN-configuratie.

Voor de standaard KVM-configuratie (monitor, toetsenbord, muis) is geen USB-hub nodig. Echter, wanneer u USB CD/DVD-ROM-stations of diskettestations aansluit, moet u een USB-hub gebruiken voor extra aansluitingen.

Knijp altijd de release-knoppen aan beide zijden van de aansluiting voordat u de SUV-kabel losmaakt. Het niet doen hiervan kan tot schadeberokkening aan de apparatuur leiden.

Maak een opstartbare diskette of een kopie van een opstartbare diskette voordat u de server blade implementeert zonder HP Insight Control server deployment.
