Hallo, ik heb een Dell OptiPlex 3040 Small Form Factor en wil graag extra geheugen installeren. Maar ik weet niet zeker hoe ik bij de geheugenslots kom zonder iets te beschadigen. Moet ik eerst de ventilatorbehuizing verwijderen voordat ik bij het RAM kan?
Ja, bij de OptiPlex 3040 SFF moet je inderdaad eerst de zijpaneel verwijderen en daarna ook de fan duct weghalen om goed bij de geheugenmodules te kunnen komen. Zet de computer eerst helemaal uit en haal de stekker eruit voordat je begint. In het handboek staat de volgorde precies beschreven, ik raad aan dat even te raadplegen want de fan duct heeft een specifieke manier van losklikken die je niet moet forceren.
